Allan E. Nordstrom

Allan E. Nordstrom, 89, of Bathgate, ND passed away Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Wedgewood Manor, Cavalier, ND. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Askew Funeral Home in Cavalier. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the time of service.
Allan Nordstrom was born on November 19, 1925 to Walter and Gertrude (McDonald) Nordstrom. On June 16, 1948, he married Pat Pariseau in Hallock, MN. Allan worked for Harvest States Elevator Company, formerly GTA. He enjoyed gardening, especially tomatoes, and loved his dog Sammy.
Survivors include his wife Pat; children: James A. (Barbara) Nordstrom, Fergus Falls, MN, Linda (Bob) Bayless, Peoria, AZ, and Robert Nordstrom, Bathgate, ND; five grandsons: Michael, Jason, Grant, Sean, and Ronnie; five great-grandchildren; sister: Doris Methner, Royal Oak, MI.
Preceding him in death were his parents; three brothers and two sisters.
