Allan F. Cleem

     Allan F. Cleem, 70, of Pembina, ND passed away Monday, September 23, 2019 at Sanford Medical Center, Fargo, ND. Funeral service will be held Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. the Assumption Catholic Church, Pembina, ND. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday for one hour before the time of services. Burial will be held in the Greenwood Cemetery, Hallock, MN. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Upper Valley ARC (ARC Angel Project) or the Special Olympics.

    Allan Franklin Cleem was born July 2, 1949 at Hallock, MN to Frank and Tillie (Dykhuis) Cleem. He grew up at Humboldt, Minnesota where he attended school. Allan worked at CKND Televsion, Hartz grocery store, and Norman Jenson Brokerage all in Pembina.

     He enjoyed motorcycling, fishing and reading. Allan was on the board of the Upper Valley ARC, and also enjoyed volunteering for the Boy and Girl Scouts and the Special Olympics.

     On June 3, 1989, he married Marcy McDermott at Pembina, ND. He is survived by his wife, Marcy; children: Tammy Cleem, Grand Forks, ND, Breanna Cleem, Grafton, ND, Veronica “Roni” Cleem, Grand Forks, ND, Jerry Cleem and Garrett Cleem both of Pembina, ND; grandchildren: Megan and Justin Chute. He is also survived by his siblings: Loretta (Ernie) Rose, Gloria Harter, Iver (Cathy) Cleem, Marvin (Mary) Cleem, and Verna (Lorne) Lofberg.

     Preceding him in death were his parents and brother, Glenn Cleem.
